Biography
Dr. Brian Stein completed his undergraduate studies at Ursinus College in 1991. He then went on to graduate from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1996. In 1999, he completed an internal medicine residency, after which he became Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
Upon completing his residency, Dr. Brian Stein was employed by Frankford Hospital Physicians Services as a staff physician in the departments of Internal Medicine and Occupational Medicine. In 2002 he opened his private practice in Northeast Philadelphia and since this time he has practiced primary care internal medicine while establishing a reputation as one of the top internal medicine specialists in the area.
In 2010, Dr. Brian Stein was chosen as a top internist in Philadelphia, as selected by the International Association of Internists. In 2013 he was selected by Continental Who’s Who as a professional of the year. His areas of interest and expertise include all facets of adult medicine including heart disease, hypertension, cholesterol management, and diabetes.
As many of his patients are aware, he is proficient in osteopathic manipulation and he has incorporated this into his everyday practice.
